Learn about the roots and history of public Montessori in Puerto Rico, the achievements of organized public policy initiatives on the island, and outcomes from 50 Puerto Rican Montessori public schools. This workshop will explore the successes and challenges of the Secretaría Auxiliar de Educación Montessori—the Montessori Education Auxiliary Secretariat—established in Puerto Rico’s Department of Education in 2014.
