As effective Montessori teachers, adult learners, and researchers, we experience, we observe, and we reflect! A long word for this is phenomenology, the study of experience and consciousness. Phenomenology integrates with Montessori philosophy to improve our ability to reflect on classroom experiences, strengthening all our educational practices. This workshop will engage you in exploring phenomenological inquiry through multisensory participation, including games, timelines, comparisons, and dialogues. And don’t worry: You don’t have to be able to spell or pronounce it!
