Let’s sort through some of Dr. Montessori’s own writings on peace and explore the influence of the Montessori Movement in the United States on this topic. We’ll discuss how we landed at the misnomer “teaching peace” instead of more accurately capturing Montessori’s original vision of peace as the outcome of her humanitarian educational approach.
