This workshop will explore the processes of truth and reconciliation (urged by keynoter Bryan Stevenson, at the AMS 2016 Annual Conference, as the essential starting point in the quest for American equality) by focusing on the indigenous peoples of the United States. Come learn how the Montessori Method is helping Cochiti Pueblo, a tribe in New Mexico, revitalize its Keres language and reclaim the education of its children.
