Many of the challenging behaviors we see in our classrooms are simply survival techniques for children who have experienced trauma. Drawing from real-life stories, the presenter will guide you in gaining an understanding of different types of trauma, how trauma affects a child’s brain and social emotional development, and several strategies you can implement that will help children who have experience trauma learn the skills they need to succeed in school and life.
