Amy Allison, MEd, AMS-credentialed (Early Childhood), is currently a fourth-grade teacher at Saint Clement School in Chicago, IL.

Amy has worked in Montessori schools for over 10 years, and has also taught in traditional and parochial schools in Chicago. She holds both a traditional Professional Educator License (K-9) and AMS Early Childhood certification. She completed her undergraduate studies in Art and International Studies while on a studio art scholarship at DePaul University. She later attained a Masters degree in Elementary Education from Loyola University-Chicago, and earned her AMS credential through Seton Montessori Institute. Amy first walked into a Montessori classroom as a toddler in Varnas Montessori's early childhood program (now defunct). She returned to Montessori as an adult when she felt the call to work with children and enjoys 'the art of serving the spirit[s]' of her young 'citizens'.
