K. T. Korngold, MA, is the chief executive officer of the Center for Montessori Education|New York, in New Rochelle, NY. AMS-credentialed (Infant & Toddler, Administrator from the Center for Montessori Education|NY). She is the Executive Director of the Montessori Children's Center, one of the first Montessori childcare centers in the United States, which has served as a model for Montessori childcare world-wide. CME|NY was the first TEP to offer Infant and Toddler AMS training for a Montessori Credential, and the first to offer an AMS Administrator's Credential. Today, CME|NY continues to be a leader in Montessori education, providing state of the art in-person training to support and engage today's adult learners to become tomorrow's Montessori leaders. K.T. was nominated for the Dennis Shapiro Innovation Award from MACTE in October 2017. She is traveling to Vietnam in November to teach a group of new Infant and Toddler teachers in Hanoi.
